What we believe

It has to be right. Every time.

An assistant you can’t trust is worse than no assistant. We’d rather do less and get it right than promise the world and drop a quote. The AI works out what you asked for; a coded workflow engine does the doing, and you check it before it goes.

The questions people ask about TradePA

Who we are, what it does, and who it’s for.

The company

Where TradePA came from and who is behind it.

Who makes TradePA?

A small UK team. TradePA was built by someone who has been on both ends of the trade: waiting weeks for a quote that never turned up, then doing most of the graft himself on his own places. You learn quickly where the admin falls over. Not on site. After work, when the day is done and the paperwork is not.

Where is it built?

In the UK, for UK trades. VAT, CIS, gas and electrical certificates and the way a British sole trader actually gets paid are built in, not bolted on. The app runs on iPhone and Android and the assistant is called Cara or Dave, whichever you pick.

How do I get hold of you?

Email support@tradepa.ai and a human answers. Press, partnerships and data requests go to the same address. There is no call centre and no ticket queue; it is a small team that reads its own inbox.

The product

What it does, why it is built this way, and what it costs.

What does TradePA actually do?

You talk to it as you go. “Quote Mary five hundred for the bricks” from the van, and the quote is written before you are off the drive. Tap send. It has the invoice ready when the job is done, books the visit in the diary, holds your certificates, and drafts the reminder when the money is late.

Why should I trust an AI with my invoices?

Because it does not send anything on its own. The AI works out what you asked for; a coded workflow engine does the doing, and you check every quote and invoice before it goes anywhere. An assistant you cannot trust is worse than no assistant, so we would rather do less and get it right.

What does it cost?

£10 a month, flat. Two weeks free, no card to start, cancel whenever you like. No tiers, no “AI is extra” upsell, no annual lock-in. Cheaper than the diesel to drive to one quote.

Who it’s for

The paperwork half of the business, done while you’re still on site.

Who is TradePA built for?

Sole traders and firms of one to three: electricians first, then plumbers and gas, then every trade. If you are on the tools all day, hate forms and do the paperwork after a full day on the tools, it is built for you.

Who is it not for?

Office-heavy field-service firms with schedulers and admin staff. They need seats, roles and permissions; that is what Tradify, ServiceM8 and Powered Now sell. TradePA is for the person who is the business.

Which trades does it cover?

Twenty-eight and counting, each with its own page: electricians, plumbers, gas and heating engineers, builders, roofers, bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, tilers, landscapers, gardeners, tree surgeons, window cleaners, locksmiths, pest control, drainage and more. See the full list at /trades/.

One plan. The whole app.
